DenmarkBridge is a non-profit organization established in 2016 to drive innovation, knowledge and investment opportunities between Denmark and key innovation hubs, primarily Silicon Valley. We are now looking for a Communications & Relations Consultant to be responsible for all internal and external communication and events for the organization.

The job:
As our Communications & Relations Consultant you will have the responsibility of organizing our annual wheel, communicating with our members and relations, and hosting our executive events.

Tasks include:

• Develop, plan and execute DenmarkBridge communication strategy.
• Manage communication to both internal and external stakeholders across all communication channels (direct, newsletters, website, social media), ensuring consistent and engaging messaging.
• Creation of marketing materials, maintaining distribution lists and coordination with partners/stakeholders.
• Plan and organize Board of Directors meetings and Annual General meeting.
• Development of Yearly report.
• Plan, organize and execute events for members of DenmarkBridge, both virtual and face-to-face. Events range from small bi-lateral meetings to flagship exclusive events as CEO Summit and other executive networking events in both Copenhagen and Silicon Valley.

About you:
We imagine that you have a degree in communications and at least 4-6 years of relevant experience from a similar organization. As a person you have strong networking skills with the ability to naturally engage with a diverse group of stakeholders and VIP’s – both in English and Danish (written and spoken). You also have a strong sense of responsibility as the role requires end-to-end execution of successful events from the overall planning to careful attention of all details.

We offer:
You will report to CEO of DenmarkBridge, Merete Hillmann and collaborate with our Senior Investment Relations Manager in Silicon Valley on a regular basis. You will be based in Vækstfondens/The Danish Growth Funds’ office in Hellerup. As a part of the event management role of the job you can expect 3-4 weeks of traveling per year.
